Our review subject today is Stealth Bomber B2 which is a Xtreme series PC case from In Win. In Win Stealth Bomber B2 is a high end PC case which is loaded with plenty of great features such as auto-sensing front door, VGA turbo cooling system and etc.

In Win Stealth Bomber B2 comes with standard PC case packaging box with good quality. The major features of In Win Stealth Bomber B2 are written on the left side of the packaging box; auto-sensing front door, w-shaped side intakes, dual fan VGA turbo cooling system, patented shock-free railing system, vibration-free fan holder and tool-free mechanical design. Besides that the inner structure of In Win Stealth Bomber B2 is shown on the packaging box as well.

In Win Stealth Bomber B2 is packed with two high quality foams and a plastic bag to ensure it is well protected, water-proof, scratch proof during shipment. There is something unique for In Win Stealth Bomber B2 as the accessories are stored at one of the foam; hopefully the user doesn't overlook this and throw it away.

The bag of accessories contains PCI slots, 3-pin to Molex converter, and plus some screws. The user's manual is a piece of big manual with Multilanguage. Besides that there is a piece of sticker which contains plenty of nice and creative small stickers. With these stickers, user can creatively enhance the design of In Win Stealth Bomber B2; very interesting stuff.

In Win B2 Exterior

In Win Stealth Bomber B2 is modeled after one of the most recognizable jets in the world. It is made by unique dark metallic plastic panels and 0.8mm Japanese steel to ensure the PC case structure is solid enough. In Win Stealth Bomber B2 is a mid tower PC case which is comes with dimension; 435 x 235 x 525 mm. So far In Win Stealth Bomber B2 is only comes with black color but we believe there isn't any problem for In Win to launches couple more color B2 if there is a demand.

The front panel of In Win Stealth Bomber B2 has a B2 bezel but it looks like "BZ" rather than "B2". At the bottom of the B2 bezel, there are two buttons and two LEDs (power and HDD). The triangle black button is the ON/RESET button while the smaller red button is a sensor button for auto-sensing front door where user just needs to lightly touch it and the front door will be open automatically in vertical way.

There is a caution notice at the front and side panels to alert the users where the front door cannot be opened by force unless the front door is switched from auto to manual mode first. Here is the switch which located at left side panel and by slightly press the top portion of the switch toward inner than the front door is switched to manual mode. This is very interesting and user friendly switch where user can swap the front door opening mode easily.

Here is the auto-sensing front door opening way of In Win Stealth Bomber B2. There is a motor in the front panel which will allow opening and closing the front door vertically. We have taken a video clip and upload to YouTube to let you understand it clearly rather than all these explanations. You may refer it in later testing portion in the next section.

In Win Stealth Bomber B2 has total four exposed 5.25" and two 2.5" bays for optical drives, floppy drives and other peripherals like fan speed controller. These bay doors can be opened up easily without require any tool as In Win Stealth Bomber B2 is designed to be a tool-less PC case.

On the left side of the front panel, there is a front I/O ports with a cover. The front I/O ports of In Win Stealth Bomber B2 are two USB 2.0 ports, two e-SATA ports, one IEEE 1394 port and two audio jacks (Mic & Line Out). e-SATA port is something unique for In Win Stealth Bomber B2 as most of the PC case manufacturer will ignore it since it is still not widely being used yet but it is still nice to have it.

Besides the auto-sensing front door, there is another good feature of In Win Stealth Bomber B2 where it is equipped with W-shaped side intake on the left panel. This W-shaped side intake is inspired by B-2 Stealth Bomber aircraft and it does look quite similar. For the front portion of this W-shaped side intake panel has air vent to allow more fresh air to cool down the system.

For the right side panel of In Win Stealth Bomber B2, there isn't any air vent which is quite standard as most of the fresh air will be drawn at front and right panel for ATX PC case. However In Win still includes a latch for this right panel so that it can be opened up easily. For both of the right and left panels, there are two patented side panel clips which are used to lock the panels on the case body. This clip is a very user friendly feature as it can be unlock and lock the side panel easily.

Here is the back panel of In Win Stealth Bomber B2 and everything looks standard and normal except the rear fan. The rear fan looks quite obvious with its sharp green color. All the PCI slots are not filled with PCI fillers but In Win has packed these PCI fillers in the accessories bag.

Beside the PSU mounting location, there are two rubber holes which are used for external water cooling. This feature is another great selling point of In Win Stealth Bomber B2 as most of the user may have hard time to modify their case so that it can support external water cooling which is more advance cooling system than internal water cooling or air cooling. These water cooling holes are able to support at least up to 1/2" tubing for those are looking for greater water cooling performance.

In Win B2 Interior

After gone through the exterior of In Win Stealth Bomber B2 and now it's time to take a look on its interior design. Once the left side panel is removed, you will notice the VGA turbo cooling system and we will continue on it in later chapter. In Win Stealth Bomber B2 is a standard mid tower PC case so it can support standard ATX motherboard and it is quite spacious compare with other mid tower PC case.

The motherboard plate of In Win Stealth Bomber B2 is joined with top and bottom panel to strengthen its structure. Most of the front I/O cables are routed though from this right panel and In Win added couples of wire tied so that the cables will not that messy.

VGA turbo cooling system is another great feature of In Win Stealth Bomber B2 which is used to cool down the graphic card as some of the high end graphic cards even generates more heat than processor so an advance cooling is necessary. This VGA turbo cooling system can be unlock by release the front and rear locking tabs.

This VGA turbo cooling system is powered up by two attractive green 80mm fans which have same ID design with the rear case fan. Both of these fans consume around 0.32A x 12V power and these fans are high quality ceramic fans which are long lasting, running quietly. For the second picture above, the position of the front 80mm fan can be adjusted to cool down the video card in the other way or to cool down the HDD; isn't it fabulous?

The green tab is the front locking tab for VGA turbo cooling system; move to right to release the lock. You will able to see two FDD and four HDD bays after the VGA turbo cooling system is removed. The HDD cage can be swiveled around 30° to allow user to install the HDD easily.

The front fan is located at front of the HDD cage and it is mounted in an air filter bracket. All the intake fans of In Win Stealth Bomber B2 also come with air filter to ensure the inner case is as clean as possible. The air filter can be clean up easily and this front air filter bracket also comes with a handle to allow user install or remove it without any hassle.

In Win Stealth Bomber B2 has total four fans; two 80mm for the VGA turbo cooling system, one 120mm for rear exhaust and one 120mm fan for front intake. The 120mm rear fan here is able to be removed out without any tool as well as the fan is mounted inside a bracket and install it on the case.

The PCI slot of In Win Stealth Bomber B2 is an easy-fit expansion slot where no screw is required. However we wonder why In Win not fills in all the PCI slot fillers at default as most of the users will only have around 2-3 cards averagely. In Win Stealth Bomber B2 is a real tool-less PC case but some screw installations are still necessary for motherboard and PSU as these can't be avoided since these items are not come along with In Win Stealth Bomber B2.

The front panel of In Win Stealth Bomber B2 can be removed easily by just unlocking two clips on the left panel from the inner case. The fourth ODD bay is occupied with the double-decked shock-free rails storage box but it is removable in case user really needs all the four ODD bays. The front I/O ports are contained inside a black box.

The double-decked shock-free rails storage box contains around 2 set ODD, 4 set HDD and two set of FDD rails. All these rails are used for tool-less drive installation which simplifies the drive installation. Besides that these rails are shock-free so that it can reduce the vibration damage on sensitive device like HDD.

This is the one of the most user friendly PC cases that we have ever seen as some of the cases even need to be opened up both side panel before the front panel can be removed. Besides that the all the power, LEDs cables can be separated from the front panel easily by just unplug the connectors. This is another caring from In Win as sometime it will be troublesome to pull out the whole cables before the front panel can be totally removed out to process with other activity like drive installation or maintenance.

This is the left side panel of In Win Stealth Bomber B2 and basically there are two air vents. The top air vent with air guide is used to provide fresh air to cool down the CPU while the bottom air vent for graphic card or the VGA turbo cooling system. Both of these air vents come with air filter to prevent the inner case from being dusty. If tower CPU cooler is used then the air guide need to be removed so that it will not block with it.

Installation, Testing & Performance

For the installation, we start with motherboard, PSU, drives (HDD, ODD) and PCI cards. Motherboard, PSU, PCI card installations are quite straightforward and nothing much different with other PC cases and we didn't really encounter any issue so we will not discuss so much on it. However for the ODD and HDD installation of In Win Stealth Bomber B2 is a bit different where it needs the shock-free rails.

The shock-free rails are located on the double-decked shock-free rails storage box and all these rails are bidirectional which save some time to find out which rail should be installed on which side. These drive rail installation is quite simple, once the rails are installed on it then the drive can be slotted into the cage easily. However we hope In Win could include another set of ODD rails as two sets are just merely sufficient.

Here are the complete installations on In Win Stealth Bomber B2 with our test setup. Everything perfect and simple especially the tool-less and hassle-less installation where we would like to stress here as this is one of the most user friendly cases that we have ever seen including those minor/small features which mostly ignored by other PC case manufacturers. For those are installing a high end video card on this In Win Stealth Bomber B2 then the cable management needs to be arranged properly as this case is not really depth enough.

Here are another couple of pictures of In Win Stealth Bomber B2 during operation. There is a blue LED at the top portion of In Win Stealth Bomber B2 and it will light up the power button area which you may confuse that there is any blue LED at that area but actually it is not; very interesting concept.

Besides the hassle-less installation, In Win Stealth Bomber B2 also come with great performance which thanks to its case structure, design and the four integrated fans (two 120mm, two 80mm fans). As you can see, there are great temperature improvement of In Win Stealth Bomber B2 over its competitor especially the CPU and VGA cooling which are mostly contributed by the air guide and VGA turbo cooling system.

Conclusion

In Win Stealth Bomber B2 is a real tool-less PC case as most of the hardware installation involves no tool at all. Such convenience really helps to simplify the installation process and save the time especially for newbie. Besides that In Win Stealth Bomber B2 has many unique and great features such as auto-sensing front door which is unforgettable and the rest of the features are VGA turbo cooling system, shock-free railing system, front eSATA I/O ports and etc. At first glance, In Win Stealth Bomber B2 may not really outstanding with its outer design but after some detail checking, this case is definitely worth for it. Furthermore it is only selling at USD115 which is really a good deal.
